The recent threat made by the Department of Health (DOH) that it will revoke the professional licenses of those medical doctors who will sell and inject any COVID-19 patient with the “Fabunan antiviral vaccine” has just fueled more the fire.
A challenge was sent by a drug manufacturer that it is willing to be shot in Luneta Park like the national hero Jose P. Rizal if Fabunan antiviral vaccine cannot cure patients afflicted with the invisible but deadly coronavirus o COVID-19.
A Facebook post of former Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Aparicio Mequi made rounds in social media when he said he issued a challenge to let the antiviral vaccine of Fabunan the chance to prove itself as a cure to the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
“Somebody challenged PRRD saying that if a covid-19 positive patient is not cured by FABUNAN vaccine, he will have himself SHOT AT THE LUNETA ala Jose Rizal! Hehehe 😂 😂! WILL SOMEBODY CALL THE CHALLENGE?,”Mequi said.
A neitzen by the name of Lolito N. Tolerosaid ”Nag-offer na nga mismo si dr. Fabunan na pag-hindi epiktibo gamot niya ay handa siyang magpatanggal ng lisinsya bilang doctor. Paano kong tama siya? Sinong handa rin magpatanggal ng licensya bilang doctor?.”
As for Felix Tiukinhoy, gave his opinion that “let us give him a chance prove it”
“Masyado namang harsh ung firing squad,,why not revocation of his license na lang,,humane ang dating,” Vicente Carranza said.
