Many congratulated Vice Ganda and Ion Perez for their same s3x marriage that took place at The Little Vegas Chapel in Las Vegas Nevada on October 19, 2021, as well as their wedding celebration that was watched live on Its Showtime last Feb 16, 2022.
Their co-hosts celebrated it but if anyone was happy with the marriage of the two, there were also those who did not agree with the same s3x marriage between Vice and Ion on Its Showtime. Former ABS-CBN creative manager and director Willie Cuevas said Cuevas, “It’s okay for them to get married on that trip, but me as a Christian it’s not okay for us to brag to the majority via TV don’t make it trendy.
Its Showtime can be watched on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z the Television network owned by Bro. Eddie Villanueva, leader of the religious community Jesus Is the Lord, wants viewers at the wedding celebration on Its Showtime to know the reaction and opinion of Bro. Eddie in the show that was watched on his network has a connection to his tweet on Valentines day February 14 Villanueva’s tweet, “Bahagi ng pagkilatis sa kandidato: Ano ang naging stand niya sa Same s3x marriages, d1v0rce law, ab0rt1on, G4mbl1ng, inside home, protecting corrupt officials and gr3edy people etc which invite GOD’s Wrath to the Nation?! (Col 3:5-6)”
Villanueva was one of those who was happy and issued a statement about the final division of the supreme court in January 2020 that Same s3x marriage will not be l3gal in the Philippines.
“The supreme court ruling reaffirms our belief that we are on the right path when we stand to defend that marriage is just and must be combined between man and woman it is not only the divine will of God it is also the standing spirit and will of the laws of our land.”
Part official before of Bro. Eddie is contrary to what Vice said last February 16 that even though he is not acknowledged by the law in the Philippines.

During his long service with ABS-CBN as creative manager, Willie did not have the opportunity for Vice to work on the shows he held but he said he was impressed with the talent of the comedian and TV host.
“Hindi ako nagkaroon ng chance maka trabaho si Vice pero nag pupunta ako sa mga shows nya sa comedy bars nung mapanood ko sya na-impress ako dahil magkasunod na gabi ako nanuod dumarating si vice ng 12am-1am para umakyat sa stage pero hindi sya nag uulit ng jokes kaya sinabi ko sa contestant at talent coordinator ng Game knb na kunin sya ako ang creative manager ng Game knb kinuha syang contestant kaya nagustuhan sya ng director namin na si Bobet Vidanes” Looking back at Willie who is now working as the creative manager of Viva Television.
