In a recent episode of the popular game show “Wowowin”, host Willie Revillame had a lot on his mind when he stepped out to address the audience.
GMA-7 recently shared a viral clip of a rather special episode of Wowowin through their official Youtube channel. Apparently, it was the celebration of Willie Revillame’s 57th birthday!
However, in the viral video, the host could be seen stepping through the stage backdrop. It was clear there was something on his mind.
He stepped on stage while the lights were dimmed and emotional piano tune played in the background.
Kuya Wil jokingly commented, “Ang dilim?”
The TV host then mentioned that it was indeed a surprise birthday celebration for him and that he needed a change of wardrobe after the all games they played on the show. The comedian then called everyone’s attention because he had something to get off his chest.
He said:
“Alam niyo. Kaya ako nandito, una sa lahat – masama ang loob ko sa inyong lahat!”
The audience was rather stunned and asked the host why he said that. That’s when Willie produced an eye dropper and dabbed some on his eyes to make it seem like he was crying.
All jokes aside, Kuya Wil truly was clearly feeling emotional in this particular segment.
He continued to address the crowd:
“Nalulungkot ako eh. Masama look ko sa inyong lahat. Tinatanong niyo pa?! Tinatanong niyo pa ba yan?!”
By now, the audience was really curious why Willie was expressing his disappointment.
He answered them,
“Biyernes ngayon…bukas birthday ko! Kanina pa tayo dito. May bumati ba isa sakin sa inyo? Meron? Ha? HA? Puro palaro! Puro pabigay! Puro ganito! Puro papremyo! Puro giveaway! Pero ako naalala niyo ba akong batiin?”
Kuya Wil’s statement was obviously made in jest since the fans were laughing and cheering for the host. Later in the video, Willie’s true feelings were made clear as he thanked everyone who supported him.
