Netizen Jonee Cañada, posted a story that inspired many Netizens because a Jeepney Diver on Calamba, Laguna showed generosity that inspired the young student, his jeepney passengers and many netizens.
According to Cañada, she was touched by what she witnessed on a jeepney going to Calamba-Biñan Hi-way. There was a young student that rode the jeepney along Parian but before he hop unto the jeepney he honestly and bravely showed a five-peso coin to the jeepney driver and said :
"Kuya, eto lang po pamasahe ko."
We Filipinos, know that there are certain jeepney drivers who might ask the young student to leave immidiately because he does not have enough money for the ride. Maybe the passengers at the jeepney are thinking the same thing but they were surprised when the generous man allowed the boy to sit on the jeepney's passenger seat and told the young student to keep his money.
"Toto, sayo n yang limang piso mo baon mo n yan at mag-aral kng mabuti ha. Wag mng-aaway ng kaklase."
The young student replied and said :
"opo. Salamat po may baon n ako!"
The young student arrived safely at his school which is Parian Elementary School with a smiling face and very thankful at the generous man.
Jonee was so touched by the scene. She wished that more drivers or workers would know the plight of students and be more compassionate to them.
